Wildlife Under Threat, a glossy wall map of the world (77 x 53cm / 30 x 21” approx.) from Schofield & Sims, printed on thin, good quality card and presenting photos and information about 15 of the many thousand species at risk of extinction.

A simple map of the world with country names and boundaries as well as shading for the mountain ranges and names of main geographical regions such as the Sahara, the Andies or the Great Dividing Range, indicates areas where the 15 species chosen to represent the threat of extinction can still be found in the wild.

Each of the 15 species is represented by a photo or a drawing and accompanied by an information panel which includes its current status from the IUCN, the World Conservation Union.

Notes under the map explain problems posed by the threat to biodiversity, as well as the map’s Hobo-Dyer equal area projection.
