The publishers’ road map of Switzerland is overprinted with colour-coded boundaries showing the extent of various Swiss cheese producing regions, all cross-referenced to a booklet, attached to the cover, with notes about each cheese. The map also shows five cheese- and one wine-related hiking routes, with website addresses provided in the booklet.

Around the map and on the reverse side are numerous colour photos and notes about the production methods, quality control, etc. In the booklet each of the 14 cheeses has a separate page with further information about its history, production and quality, and serving tips. Also included are contact addresses for further information.

All the text is in English, German, French and Italian.
