Encapsulated wall map of Great Britain from Map Marketing with a good dense scatter of place names are shown on this 86x124cm map, with the towns classified by population size. Motorways and A roads are clearly shown (A roads are not all numbered). The map is coloured in shades of green and brown to show highland and lowland, and county names are shown in grey (with county boundaries faintly). The map shows England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, with the Republic of Ireland shown in an inset.

There is also an enlarged inset of Greater London, a distance table, an explanation of the main road signs, and a list of telephone numbers for railway companies, ferries and airports.

This is the encapsulated edition: the map has been sealed between two sheets of plastic and therefore is more rigid and heavier than laminated maps of the same size. It is also damp-proof and will not crinkle in humid conditions. Encapsulation gives the map a shiny surface, similar to being displayed behind glass.
