Athens on a laminated, tear-resistant Insight Flexi Map, with a street plan of its central districts, a detailed plan of the Acropolis, roads map of the city’s environs and Attica with north-eastern Peloponnese, plus extensive tourist information.

On one side is a map of the city’s central district at 1:11,500. Metro stations are clearly marked. Main public buildings, places of interest and selected hotels are prominently highlighted and named. The plan is indexed for streets, points of interest and public buildings. Also provided is a detailed plan of the Acropolis plus a diagram of the city’s metro network.

On the reverse the environs are covered at 1:120,000, showing access to the port in Piraeus and the international airport. A road map of 1:850,000 covers Attica with southern Euboea (Evia) and the north-eastern part of Peloponnese, including many famous archaeological sites, Delphi, Mycenae, Epidaurus, Sounion, etc.

A special feature of the Insight Flexi series are panels with additional tourist information:

26 main sights, neatly grouped into sections covering Major City Sights, Recommended Museums, Main Shopping Areas and Markets, plus Further Afield, are given brief descriptions and are prominently highlighted on the relevant maps.
