Laminated, waterproof tourist map of Brazil with enlargements for the environs of Rio de Janeiro, plus street plans of Rio, São Paulo, Brasilia, Curitiba, Florianópolis, Fortaleza, Manaus, Natal, Porto Alegre, Recife, and Salvador. The main map at 1:4,000,000 covers most of the country, including the whole of Uruguay and most of Paraguay, extending along the Amazon basin to just before Manaus. The area north of Macapá and the north-west of the country, including the Amazon west of Manaus, is shown as a separate inset at 1;8,000,000. The map highlights national parks and protected areas, as well as places of interest. Road network includes many minor roads and tracks. Local airports and aerodromes are marked in less accessible areas. Topography is shown by relief shading and spot heights, with names of mountain and hill ranges and main peaks. Administrative divisions and names of states are also marked. The maps have no geographical coordinates. Map legend includes English. The index of localities has separate lists of parks and protected areas, beaches and places of interest.

Enlargements show the environs of Rio de Janeiro at 1:175,000, with additional information on selected accommodation, shopping centres, etc. Street plans of central Rio, São Paulo, Brasilia, Curitiba, Florianópolis, Fortaleza, Manaus, Natal, Porto Alegre, Recife, and Salvador are all indexed for places of interest and various facilities, but not for street names. Also included is a map showing the division of the country into states and time zones, plus climate charts with average monthly temperature, precipitation, etc.
