Maps in the MairDumont’s Marco Polo series have a special fold-out flap in the map jacket providing an overview of the whole area and highlighting popular locations, with the grid reference system in the margins making it easier to find places on the main map. All place names are given only in the Latin alphabet. Latitude and longitude lines are drawn at intervals of 30’. Multilingual map legend includes English. The index, in separate booklet attached to the map cover, gives all locations with their postcodes and provides information on traffic regulations and emergency numbers.
