Camino de Santiago, the main route with the western variant across the Pyrenees, in a pocket-size spiral-bound book with colour maps at 1:100,000, street plans of main cities, and extensive accommodation information.

The maps cover the main route across Lognoño, Burgos, Léon and Ponferrada, starting with the western variant of crossing the Pyrenees from St-Jean-Pied-de-Port to Roncesvalles and on to Pamplona. Also covered is the westernmost extension between Santiago de Compostela and Finisterre.

The route is shown highlighted on 40 maps at 1:100,000 with altitude coloring and contours at 100m intervals. The overprint indicates which sections of the route use main or secondary roads, country tracks or local footpaths. Where appropriate, variants of the route are indicated and particularly interesting spots are annotated with brief comments.

Each page also includes a route profile and indicates what facilities (various types of accommodation, restaurants/bars, shops, etc) can be found in towns and villages along that section.

Street plans, annotated with accommodation recommendations, are provided for the five main cities along the route: Pamplona, Lognoño, Burgos, Léon and Ponferrada, plus Santiago itself.

Also provided are eight pages, arranged in sections corresponding to the map pages, with accommodation details indicating facilities available at alberuges (pilgrim hostels) and selected hotels, price ranges, etc.
