Friuli Venezia Giulia, the north-eastern corner of Italy on a detailed, indexed road map at 1:150,000 from Tabacco with excellent presentation of the topography based on the publishers’ extensive series of hiking maps of the region.

The map has contours at 100m intervals enhanced by relief shading, graphic for rock faces and colouring for forested areas, with plenty of peaks and names of valleys, plus boundaries of national parks and other protected areas. Road network is presented in great detail and indicates difficult routes. Railway lines are shown with stations and mountain transport, cable car lines char lifts and rack railways are also marked. The map has latitude lines at intervals of 6’ with longitude at 10’. Extensive index is in a separate booklet attached to the cover. Map legend includes English.

This map is also available in an enlarged version at 1:100,000, but with coverage in the south-west not including Treviso, Venice or the northern part of the Lagoon with Lido di Jesolo.
