France’s navigable rivers and canals on an overview map from the maritime and inland waterways specialists Imray, Laurie, Norie & Wilson Ltd, with additional coverage of Belgium, Netherlands and the adjoining regions of Germany.

The network is presented on a plain base with rivers and canals shown in contrasting colours and classified according to the draught of under or over 1.80m (approx. 6 feet). Sections of rivers difficult to navigate are also indicated, as are unnavigable canals. Each section is annotated with information on the length of the route (both in kilometres and miles), with maximum draught and height, plus the number of locks.

Coverage includes the waterways of Belgium and Netherlands, plus the German part of the Rhine with the Moselle, the Saar and the adjoining canals of the western part of Lower Saxony. All these waterways are classified as according to their draught, but only the German sections are annotated with additional information.

Current edition of this map was published in 2001.
