Indexed, general map of the entire Kathmandu - Patan - Bhaktapur area, with more detailed street plans of the individual towns and numerous enlargements of the area’s most visited spots. The road map at 1:25,000, from Kirtipur in the west to Bhaktapur and north to Budhanilkantha, has countours, relief shading and spot heights, with colouring and graphics indicating different types of vegetation and terrain. Symbols highlight various places of interest and numerous tourist facilities. The map has an index of place names, main streets, religious places, public buildings, and various tourist facilities.

On the reverse is a more detailed street plan at 1:10,000 of Kathmandu and Patan, indexed and annotated with tourist information. More plans at 1:10,000 show Bhaktapur, Thimi and Kirtipur, plus the Swayambhunath and Pashupatinath areas. Several more insets at 1:3,000 provide very detailed plans of the Durbar Squares in Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur, plus Dattatraya Square in Bhaktapur, Bauddha/Bodhnath Stunpa, Pashupatinath and Swayambhunath.
