Okavango Delta and the neighbouring wetlands at 1:350,000 on a special map from Botswana’s national survey organization, with the coverage extending south to Lake Ngami, and to the Linyati Swamp to the north east. A separate inset extends the map along the Okavango to the Caprivi Strip in Namibia.

The map shows perennial and seasonal rivers and lakes, pans, swamps, wetlands, islands and surrounding dry land. Major sand ridges are marked and contours show local hills. The map provides names of numerous local settlemets, indicating larger villages and shows livestock and veterinary cordon fences with gates. Local airstrips and safari or hunting camps are also marked. Latitude and longitude lines are drawn at 15' intervals.
