Rome on a waterproof and tear-resistant, indexed map from Touring Club Italiano, combining two street plans of the city with a road map of its environs. Clear, elegant cartography and subtle colouring make TCI plans particularly easy to read.

On one half of the sheet is a more general plan of the city with its outer districts at 1:12,000, as indicated on our area image. Main traffic arteries are highlighted and metro stations are marked. Various public buildings, churches, etc, are highlighted and named. Unusually for street plans, outside the built-up areas, e.g. in the Villa Doria Pamphilj, the map is contoured to show the topography.

The remaining part of the sheet is split between a detailed enlargement of the city’s central area at 1:7,500, roughly between the Vatican, Villa Borghese and the Coliseum, and a road map of the capital’s environs at 1:100,000, including both airports (Leonardo da Vinci and Ciampino) and Colli Albani with Castel Gandolfo. On the reverse is an index plus contact details for various municipal services and utilities.
