Indexed general map of Uzbekistan with a plan of central Tashkent and an enlargement of the Fergana (Ferghana) Valley at 1:750,000 . All place names are in Cyrillic alphabet. The country’s topography is shown by altitude colouring and shading plus spot heights, indicating seasonal rivers and lakes, deserts, marshland, etc.

The map shows Uzbekistan’s rail and road networks, with intermediate driving distances on main and many secondary routes. Local administrative boundaries are also marked. Latitude and longitude grid is at intervals of 1º.

An inset covers central Tashket at 1:22,000 and an enlargement show the Fergana (Ferghana) Valley in eastern Uzbekistan in greater detail at 1:750,000. A separate leaflet has an index of localities and notes on the country’s history, geography, economic development, etc.

All place names are in Cyrillic alphabet. Map legend and all the text are in Russian only.
