Corfu at 1:20,000 is an indexed map with additional street plans and enlargements of popular regions on the reverse. The publisher has chosen to concentrate on creating a map which will primarily be of use for a tourist navigating between main points of interest as opposed to stressing more detailed cartography.

National, main and minor roads are clearly marked with special attention given to indicating scenic routes and petrol stations. The airport, ferry routes and some footpaths are also shown.

In keeping with the publisher’s emphasis on a general navigational, tourist related map
things such as beaches and water sport sites, castles and monasteries, hotels and caravan sites are all specifically highlighted, as are other places of special interest to the visitor.

Also included on the map is a chart detailing the monthly average rainfall, sunlight and temperatures for Corfu, a small table showing approximate distances between main towns, a calendar of events throughout the year and some language tips.

On the reverse of the map are a street plan for Corfu town and small road maps for the Corfu suburbs, the Mount Pantokrator and Paleokastritsa areas and the Southern Tip. In addition general road maps of the islands of Paxi, Anti Paxi, Kefalonia, Ithaka, Lefkada (Lefkas) and Zakynthos (Zante) are provided.
