Israel at 1:500,000 on a tourist orientated, indexed travel map in the New Holland’s Globetrotter series, with enlargements of the Dead Sea area and street plans of Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Haifa, Eilat and Tiberias.

The map’s emphasis is on highlighting main places interest as opposed to offering a detailed presentation of the country’s road network. The main road map shows scenic routes and indicates driving distances on primary roads. Pre-1967 boundaries are marked (if not totally accurately), with the whole of the West Bank and Gaza shown as Palestinian Territories and the Golan Heights as Disputed Territory.

An enlargement shows in greater detail the Jerusalem - Hebron - Dead Sea region, with a further enlargement for the ‘En Boqeq area. The reverse side offers several street plans. All highlight locations of numerous hotels.
