Slovakia on a laminated, tear-resistant Insight Flexi Map, with street plans of central Bratislava and Košice, an enlargement for the Tatra Mountains area including the Polish side, plus extensive tourist information.

On one side is a road map of Slovakia at 1:750,000. Topography is shown by bold relief shading with names of various mountain ranges and spot heights. National parks are highlighted. The map presents the country’s road and rail networks, including selected local roads, with driving distance shown on main routes. Interesting towns and villages are highlighted, with symbols marking locations of other sights. The map has no geographical coordinates and is indexed for places and points of interest.

On the reverse are indexed street plans of central Bratislava and Košice. One way streets and car parks are marked, and public buildings, places of interest and selected hotels are prominently highlighted. An enlargement, also indexed, shows the Tatra Mountain National Park in greater detail, including its Polish side with Zakopane.

A special feature of the Insight Flexi series are panels with additional tourist information:

36 main sights, neatly grouped into sections covering Major Attractions, The Great Outdoors, plus Castles, Forts and Churches, are given brief descriptions and are prominently highlighted on the relevant maps.
