Corsica Mountains by Robin G. Collomb covers a selection of walks and climbs that span the mountainous regions of the island, including the GR20 high level route. An introductory section covers general information such as when to go, equipment and practice, mountain huts and camping, grading, routes, times and distances, maps etc. Also included are sections that deal with route access, public transport and currency; town and village bases; and access to valley bases and huts.

The remainder of the guide is dedicated to describing walks and climbs organized according to their respective locations in various valleys, ranges and mountain groups. The scope of the guide aims to give a reasonably balanced picture of the greater part of the area, describing the main massifs and peaks, the huts, routes to them and some of the more interesting scrambles from them. The areas covered in the guide are as follows: Bonfiato-Tartagine-Haut Asco; Asco South-Golo North; Viro and Tula Basins; Rotondo Massif; Mont d’Oro Massif; Renoso Massif; Incudine and Bavella; Ajaccio-Porto summits; and the GR20 high level route. Simple hand-drawn route maps accompany most of the routes described, as do a number of black-and-white photographs and illustrations.
