Very large street plan with street index in the attached booklet. All text is in the Greek alphabet, although an English translation for the map legend is included. Coverage extends from Peristeri district in the north to Argiroupoli & Elliniko in the south, and from Piraeus & Keratsini in the west to the University Campus in the east.
Much of the text on the main map is very small, as are the symbols, so it may not be the easiest map to read. However the city centre is displayed in an inset at the larger scale of 1:7,000 with much more information. Detail includes pedestrianised streets, stairways, one-way streets, bus stops, railways, metro stations, car parks, petrol stations. Building numbers on many streets are indicated, and boundary of the Traffic Control Zone is marked. Many other typical city features are indicated eg. police stations, hotels, post offices, theatres, hospitals, pharmacies, churches, monuments, parks.
A simple inset road map shows Athens and surroundings, including the main Airport; on this map the Metro system is also highlighted.
On the reverse is a continuation of the main 1:12,000 map, extending from Elliniko southwards to Varkisa and Cape Asprokavos.
Another inset shows the Perama district, west of Keratsini. There is also a general road map of the Attica region at 1:150,000.
