Road map of the Crimean Peninsula with altitude colouring and tourist information and an index. All place names are in the Roman alphabet only. The map covers the whole of Crimea, with its eastern tip around Kerch shown as an inset.

Altitude colouring with spot heights and graphics for swamps, sand dunes, vineyards and orchards indicate the terrain and land use. The area’s road network is shown with locations of petrol stations and intermediate driving distances on main roads, and railways with local stations. The map highlights national parks and other protested areas and indicates various places of interest, locations with tourist accommodation, campsites, historical monuments, etc.

The map has is indexed and has latitude and longitude lines at intervals of 30’. Inevitably, as often happens in such cases, transliteration of place names sometimes varies from commonly used forms, e.g. Jalta for Yalta.
