Clear, well presented, indexed tourist plan of Paris from ITMB, printed on light, waterproof and tear-resistant plastic paper, with on the reverse an indexed road map of north-central France for day trips from the capital.

The plan clearly marks metro and RER stations, indicating line numbers and highlights main traffic routes across the city. Within the central area one way streets are marked, but not so in the outer arrondisements. Main places of interest in the city are easy to find and symbols mark selected hotels, street markets, embassies, etc.

Coverage extends to include all the most visited sites: west to the Boulevard Périphérique, north to include Montmartre and east to include the Père Lachaise cemetery, and south to just beyond Denfert Rochereau to include the bus terminal for the Orly Airport. The plan is indexed and includes a very clear and easy to follow diagram of the metro and RER networks extending well beyond the area covered by the plan.

On the reverse is an indexed road map of north-central France for day trips from the capital, showing the network of main and secondary roads. Railway lines are marked, but without indicating the TGV routes. The map is indexed but has no geographical coordinates.

Coverage includes Ile de France, most of Picardy, Normandy and Champagne, northern Burgundy and most of the Loire Valley. Roughly, clockwise from the north: Somme estuary, Arras, French Ardennes and Charleville-Mézières, Nancy, Besançon, Dijon, Bourges, Cholet, Châteaubriant, Mont-St-Michel southern Cotentin Peninsula, Normandy WWII beaches and the rest of the coastline.
