      OS Data and Costs in Stanfords GIS:

      The OS MasterMap acts as a contract layer within the site and customers can stipulate a buffer zone around their properties/ grounds from 100m upwards. This means that customers no longer have to buy whole tiles of data and instead only pay for the mapping they need.

      For example, in the past a 1km square of data would have cost £700 + vat whereas for Stanfords GIS customers this is available for less than £200 + vat. A typical portfolio of c4000 properties would now cost roughly £800 + vat (depending on portfolio spread and buffer required) with unlimited viewing and printing for a year. Previously it would have cost at least 4 times this.

      As well as the discounted large-scale mapping we offer all Stanfords GIS customers the following mapping for free:

      • Free mainland GB coverage of OS Streetview (1:10 000 scale)
      • Free mainland GB coverage of VectorMap District (1:25 000 scale)
      • Free mainland GB coverage of OS Road Mapping (1:250 000 scale)
      • Free mainland GB coverage of OS Mini-scale (1:1 000 000 scale)

       

      Stanfords GIS also comes with Bluesky Aerial Photography. The cost for this would be around £400 + vat for unlimited viewing and printing for a typical portfolio size.
