      This page is designed to provide our customers with a range of support documentation that best suits their individual requirements. To that end we have, where relevant, included both a brief, simplied text version with line by line commands and a full user manual containing screenshots and descriptions.

      1) Search tools.

      There are 4 ways to search for the property/ site that you require so we have included a separate guide for this process. All 4 methods are available irrespective of which product you eventually choose although it would be unusual to upload a shapefile to define a planning application map for instance.

      This product can be ordered with or without a preview of the large-scale data prior to purchase. The "with preview" option allows customers to view the large-scale mapping prior to purchase but this does incur small view charges as a result; the "without preview" allows users to define their area of interest in OS Streetview without seeing the large-scale data before download. Prior to defining the order area the user must first decide which of these two preview options they would like to use and the first Quick Guide here outlines how to select the right one:

       OS MasterMap Vector - Define order with or without preview (647 KB)
       OS Mastermap Vector - define by selecting standard pre-defined areas (100 KB)
       OS Mastermap Vector - order by drawing an irregular polygon (104 KB)
       OS Mastermap Vector - order using top left/ bottom right co-ordinates (104 KB)
