Dubai Street Atlas is a new spiral bound, double indexed atlas (one index for roads and one for buildings and places of interest) with scale ranging from 1:6,500 to 1:20,000 for most parts of the city. The atlas features a carefully compiled telephone directory and a useful A-Z summary of driving in Dubai.

Highways, primary, secondary, other roads and roads under construction are shown with specific notation for exits, tolls, road numbers, petrol stations and even traffic lights. Metro lines and station names, monorail routes and the proposed tram network are marked on the atlas. Airports, bus stations, taxi ranks, cable cars, water taxis and ship ways are also specifically illustrated.

The building features shown on the atlas are colour coded, thus different colours denote buildings under the description of hotels, shopping centres, museums, hospitals, educational establishments, government buildings, general buildings and industrial areas. Useful locations relating to day to day practicalities and leisure activities are shown such as medical centres, banks, ATMs, pharmacies, mosques and churches, libraries, sports grounds, cinemas and golf courses. Hotels and restaurants are also located.
