One-way streets are shown as are railway lines and stops. Local facilities such as hotels, hospitals, museums, are all highlighted through the use of symbols and also abbreviations (the latter also present on the map legend). Points of interest such as the Sanjay Ghandi National Park, places of worship, monuments and tombs are indicated. The small map of Uran Karanhja, shares the same cartographic template as the main map. The inset showing the environs of Mumbai shows only the major roads leading into it.

The map cover includes a full-colour 12 page booklet filled with tourist information such as the history, places of interest, useful telephone numbers, accommodation and more.
