One of the titles in a series of indexed road maps of the Canadian provinces from the country’s leading map publishers, MapArt, with enlargements for more densely populated areas and street plans. The maps provide a comprehensive picture of the road network, with detailed road grading, rest areas and service centres, intermediate driving distances, etc. Extensive overprint highlights numerous places of interest, including national/provincial parks and wildlife reserves, different types of campsites, sport and recreational facilities, etc. Also shown are railway lines, time zone boundaries, and different administrative divisions of each province.

In this title: the whole of the Yukon, extending westwards to include the central part of Alaska, with the Kenai Peninsula, the Denali and Gates of the Arctic National Parks and the whole of the Anchorage to Prudhoe Bay highway. Coverage eastwards in the Northwest Territories includes the Great Bear Lake and, as an inset the Great Slave Lake region. The Alaska Panhandle is shown on the reverse at 1:1,600,000. Relief shading indicates the topography and protected areas are clearly highlighted. Latitude and longitude lines are drawn at 1º intervals.

Also included are indexed street plans of Whitehorse (1:25,000) and Dawson City (1:6,250) in Yukon, Yellowknife in the Northwest Territories at 1:25,000, plus Anchorage and Fairbanks (1:25,000) and Skagway (1:6,250) in Alaska.
