On one side is the whole Fiji archipelago, with just the small southernmost groups shown as an inset. Land elevation and ocean depths are indicated by colouring, with names of main mountains shown on the larger islands. Surrounding coral reefs are marked. Road network includes minor roads and tracks and shows distances on main routes. Local airfields and ports are also included. Latitude and longitude lines are drawn at 15’ intervals.

The islands, particularly in the most visited northern and western
groups around Vanua Levu and Viti Levu are annotated with names of numerous tourist resorts and individual accommodation facilities, including where appropriate with separate longer lists for areas such as Nadi. Two separate indexes list islands, plus towns and villages. Also provided is a small street plan of Suva.

The whole of the reverse side is taken up by tourist information, including extensive lists of resorts, cruise companies, car or yacht rentals, tour operators, dive companies, etc, all with contact addresses, plus tourist tips, health, entry requirements, etc.
