Germany Road Atlas at 1:200,000 from the Automobile Association in a practical A4 format, with 24 cities plans at 1:20,000 and useful Europe route planner maps.

Road network is presented in great detail, with secondary and smaller local roads clearly visible. Motorways indicate toll routes, various services, and sections liable to traffic jams. On other roads winter closures, restricted access, steep gradients, roads closed to or not suitable for caravans and private toll roads are indicated. Scenic roads and special tourist routes are prominently marked.

Towns and villages worth visiting are clearly highlighted, as are other locations of interest, e.g. beautiful landscape, panoramic views, etc. Symbols indicate campsites, youth hostels, various sport and recreational facilities, etc. Topography is presented by subtle relief shading and colouring for woodlands and spot heights, with plenty of names of various geographical features including mountain ranges, peaks, valleys, etc. Regional parks and other protected areas are clearly highlighted.

A separate service and petrol stations map covers German motorways, and an additional list locates approximately 200 charging stations for electric cars around the country including addresses and operating times.

Also provided are 24 city maps at 1:20,000 showing main traffic arteries, one way streets, car parks, public transport lines including, where appropriate, bus and/or tram routes with stops and line numbers, public buildings, etc.

The atlas includes a distances and times table between major cities in Germany. Six maps at 1:4,500,000 cover Europe for easy route planning. They include motorways and major and minor roads with their European codes, distances in kilometres, airports, ferry routes, national boundaries, border crossing. Additionally, light shading, colouring and spot heights give a general idea of the topography.

This road atlas is in German only apart from the maps of Europe and the main legend which is multilingual and includes English.
