Road network indicates scenic routes and gives driving distances in both miles and kilometres. Railways and local airports are also shown.

15 top sights are prominently marked, with a separate panel providing brief descriptions. Symbols show locations of other places of interest, including campsites, viewpoints, Celtic and megalithic remains, monasteries, golf courses and other sport and recreational facilities, etc. Names of main town and other selected locations are also given in Gaelic. The map has no geographical coordinates.

On the reverse Wicklow Mountains are shown at 1:350,000 in greater detail. Another enlargement at 1:125,000 covers Dublin with its outer suburbs, including the ferry port of Dun Laoghaire.

Street plans, annotated with places of interest, selected hotels, etc. cover central Dublin with the adjoining districts (1:15,000) and Cork (1:8,000).

All the maps and plans are indexed, including separate lists of places of interest, beaches, etc. Also included are graphs showing the country’s climate month by month, plus general tourist information.
