The northern part of the North-West Frontier Province of Pakistan at 1:500,000 on a map showing its road network and administrative divisions, with numerous additional panels providing street plans, enlargements, historical information, etc.

On one side the main map covers the northern part of the province extending south include the Haripur and Abbottabad districts just north of Islamabad and Rawalpindi (i.e. without Peshawar and the southern panhandle). The map shows administrative districts in different colours and presents the region’s road network. Topographic information is limited to rivers and lakes, plus main peaks, passes and glaciers.

Around the map and on the reverse side are several street plans of main towns (including Islamabad), all with lists of various places of interest indicated on the plans including accommodation facilities. Also provides enlargements for Galiyat/Gallies area and Lake Saif-ul-Maluk. Other panels provide information on ethno-linguistic distribution, geology and climate, the Chitral Campaign of 1892/1895, distance tables, etc.
