The Clans and Tartans Guide and Map of Scotland is a reference item of clan badges, plant badges and tartans, featuring more than 1000 surnames with clan connections, detailing the territories of principal clans at the beginning of the seventeenth century, and providing information on clan and tartan related tourist sites and internet links.

The Castles Guide and Map of Scotland looks at over 800 of the country’s castles and fortified houses, highlighting the sites particularly great for children. Information given includes details of public access, Historic Scotland and National Trust for Scotland ownership, notable gardens and grounds, contact telephone numbers and websites.

Each small guide comes complete with colour photographs and fold out maps which illustrate and locate the places they list.
