The Turkish Coast – Kas to Dalyan is part of a three-volume Sunflower Complete Guide series exploring the walking possibilities along the Turkish coastline. This volume covers a range of routes including walks in Kas, Kalkan, Patara, Oludeniz, Fethiye, Gocek and Dalyan. A double-sided, fold-out touring map at the back of the book shows the coastline between Kas and Dalyan and the locations of each walk. There are also basic street plans for each of the towns covered in the guide.

The guide is structured in three main parts – an Introduction, A-Z of Practicalities and Walking section - that give a comprehensive survey of the region’s culture as well as general practical advice for walking in the area. A thorough introduction includes practical guidance on Turkey in facts and figures, when to go, getting to the area, accommodation and food and drink. There is also an extensive section on the history of the region in relation to each of the walks.

The ‘Walking’ section includes 16 recommended walks, in addition to descriptions of the towns and villages of the region. Each of the walks is grouped within a geographical section that outlines information about accommodation, nightlife, food and drink and local transport in the area. Individual walks begin with details of times, difficulty gradings, suggested equipment, local transport and any shorter walk alternatives to the main route. Colour photographs and outline map extracts help walkers navigate the route and accompany each walk description.
