Wales at 1:400,000 in Michelin’s tourist series covering Great Britain on waterproof and tear-resistant maps with descriptions of main sights, extensive restaurants recommendations, etc. The maps also indicate locations with entries in Michelin’s Red Guide to hotels and restaurants in Britain.

Each title combines a road map with an index listing selected place names; descriptions of main places of interest with contact details; plus recommendations for eating out in pubs and restaurants accompanied by rating and an indication of the price range.

Road mapping is identical to Michelin’s series covering Britain on four sheets where a full description of the cartography and road presentation is provided; special features include highlighting of scenic roads and driving distances on main routes given in both miles and kilometres. Railway lines and ferry routes are included.

The maps are printed on durable, waterproof and tear-resistant plastic paper which can be written on with highlighters to mark routes, destinations, etc.

In this title: the map includes street plans of central Cardiff and Swansea, with descriptions of main sights in the two cities and across other parts of Wales, plus recommendations for over 45 restaurants rated by Michelin.
