Irkutsk Street Plan - Lake Baikal Tourist Map on a double-sided map from the Russian publishers VostSib AGM with an English map legend, presenting on one side a street plan of the city and on the reverse a road map of the region surrounding Lake Baikal.
On one side is a street plan covering Irkutsk at 1:25,000. Names of districts and selected streets are also shown in the Latin alphabet. Streets are annotated with selected house numbers for easier identification of addresses. A every wide range of symbols indicate locations of various important buildings and facilities., including hotels, restaurants, markets and shopping centres, cultural institutions and historical monuments, etc.
On the reverse Lake Baikal and the surrounding region are shown at 1:900,000 on a map with contours at 100m intervals. Names of larger towns and of selected topographic feature are also given in Latin alphabet. The map shows the region’s road and rail network, ferry connections on the lake, and highlights various places of interest, including locations with tourist accommodation, campsites, museums and historical monuments, interesting natural sites, fuel supplies, etc. Latitude and longitude lines are drawn at 1° intervals.
On both side of the map the legend includes English.
