Borneo at 1:1,500,000 from Nelles Verlag on a double-sided, smaller size sheet offering a convenient format for use when travelling. The map covers the whole island and provides street plans of central Kuching and Kota Kinabalu in Malaysia and the capital of Brunei Bandar Seri Begawan.

Borneo is divided north/south, with very generous overlap between the two sides. Relief shading with spot heights and names of mountain ranges and peaks presents the topography. The map shows the island’s road network, distinguishing between roads in good and poor condition, plus local airports and ferry connections. Also marked are internal administrative boundaries with names of the provinces. National parks or protected areas and numerous places of interest are prominently highlighted, particularly in the Malaysian part of the island. Latitude and longitude are show by margin ticks at 1° intervals. The map has no index of localities. Map legend includes English.

An enlargement shows in greater detail the Muara region on the north-eastern tip of Brunei around the capital. The street plans highlight main sights, facilities, public buildings and selected tourist accommodation.
