Reproduction of a beautiful and colorful map of the Americas drawn by the famous cartographer Blaeu around 1650. While South America is almost as we know it now, North America, particularly northern USA and Canada, reflects the early stages in the exploration of that part of the world. The sea areas are decorated with drawings of ships and imaginary sea creatures. The borders have drawings of the native population and interesting plans of some of the famous destinations, Havana, Cuzco, Santo Domingo, Potosi, etc.
