On the reverse Costa del Sol, from Algeciras and Los Alcornocales Natural Park to Velez-Málaga and inland to Antequera, in shown in greater detail at 1:150,000. Road network includes local dirt tracks and indicates driving distances on main and secondary routes. Railway lines are included and local airports are marked. National parks and other protected areas are highlighted and a range of symbols mark various places of interest including campsites. Latitude and longitude lines are drawn at intervals of 1° on the main map and at 10’ on the enlargement which also has a UTM grid. Each side has a separate index of localities.

”World Mapping Project” is an extensive series of maps at varying scales, aiming to provide coverage of countries and regions worldwide using clear, well presented cartography with both topographic and tourist information. Some maps in this series have been published in Britain by Rough Guides with the same cartography. The remaining titles are listed on our website in their original Reise Know-How editions.

Sample of cartography:

Some elements of the cartography e.g. minor roads and contours are printed relatively faintly compared with other information such as major roads. Although clearly legible on the map, the lower contrast of these details has made them less obvious on the reproduction of the cartography presented here.
