Topography is shown by relief shading with spot heights and main peaks, plus graphics and colouring indicating various types of terrain and vegetation. National Parks and other protected areas are marked.

Road network includes unsurfaced roads and local tracks and shows locations of petrol stations, car service centres, and traffic patrol service points. Railways lines indicate stations and ferry routes also shown. Symbols highlight places of interest, sport and recreational facilities, campsites, etc. The maps have latitude and longitude lines drawn at intervals of 15’.

The atlas also includes 15 street plans of main towns (Alushta, Alupka, Bakhchysaray, Feodosiya, Gyrzuf, Kerch, Koktebel, Novyi Svet, Saki, Sevastopol, Simferopol, Staryi Krim, Sudak, Yalta, and Yevpatoriya), highlighting places of interest, various services, tourist accommodation, etc.

Map legends, both for the main section and for the street plans, include English. All the place names are shown only in Cyrillic alphabet.
