Michelin street plan of Paris at 1:10,000, in this version with the street index in a separate booklet plus additional information on public transport. Michelin’s cartography remains a benchmark for accurate presentation of the city, even if the large size sheet may appear less convenient than more tourist-oriented maps.

The plan is ideal for all those who wish to go beyond the usual tourist routes and explore Parisian nooks and crannies or just need an accurate and detailed plan of the whole city. It accurately reflects the actual street layout and shows all the minor streets, little alleys, small squares, covered passages, etc. Steep streets with steps are marked. Where necessary, the plan indicates various entrances to metro and/or RER stations, and also shows stops of the Voguéo boat services along the Seine and the canals, plus the Vélib’ cycle stations and taxi ranks. For drivers the plans shows one way streets, restricted access, car and/or coach/truck parks and 24hr petrol stations.

Public buildings, including all the famous monuments and museums, are clearly marked and named. Symbols indicate various services and facilities including sports grounds, post offices, etc. Streets are annotated with selected house numbers for easier identification of addresses. Also shown are boundaries of the arrondissements.

Street index is in a separate booklet which also provides additional information:

a diagram of the metro/RER/tramway/SNCF network within Paris and its inner suburbs

a similar diagram for the wider area around the capital but without the metro

a list of bus lines with diagrams of the bus network and of the night time routes

lists of useful addresses and contact details

detailed information on how to get to the Charles de Gaulle and Orly Airports by public transport or by car

The same plan is also available without the booklet but with the index on the reverse, plus in an atlas format.
