The Loire Cycle Route, a 680-km cycling trail along the Loire from Nevers in Burgundy to the Atlantic Coast, in a French language, 127-page guide from Chamina, with additional 160kms of variants in the Loire-Anjou-Tourraine regional park.

The route is presented on 39 maps at 1:100,000 for the sections from its start at Nevers to Orléans and the final part between Nantes and La Baule, while the central part of the route between Orléans and Nantes is shown at 1:80,000.

The maps indicate sections on designated cycle paths or roads shared with motorized traffic, type of road surface, gradients and intermediate distances. Symbols highlight the area’s famous châteaux and other sites of interest, railway stations, bicycle repair facilities, food shops and eateries, swimming pools, etc., as well as accommodation: hotels, campsites, chambers d’hôtes, and gîtes, indicating those within the Acceuil Vélo network, all with contact details provided in an extensive list at the end of the guide.

For main cities along the route: Nevers, St-Satur, Orléans, Blois, Amboise, Tours, Saumur, Angers and Nantes street plans are provided to show access to the route from the SNCF stations. The description of the route itself, the guide to the area and its attractions, and the map legend are in French only.
