The map has contours at 100m intervals and shows the island’s road network, including unsurfaced local roads, with locations of petrol stations and main bus stops. Scenic routes are highlighted and symbols mark selected hotels and restaurants, mountain huts, gardens, viewpoints, beaches, etc.

Overprint shows hiking paths, including 50 specially selected routes for which brief descriptions are provided on the reverse, each with notes indicating the degree of difficulty, the variation in altitude and hiking time. The map has no geographical coordinates.
