They show detailed surveys of the beaches, sea obstacles, town plans, and as much detailed information on German military placements and defences as the UK hydrographic Office surveyors were able to discover in their daring survey missions

Beautifully printed and presented, these reprints are careful colour reproductions at the original scales, printed on high-quality thick paper. One folded map is given for each of the landing beaches (Sword, Juno, Gold, Omaha & Utah). The maps come in a large booklet wallet, which contains some text telling the story of the mapping survey operations.
