Spain’s Sistema Central, including the eastern part of Sierra de Gredos and Sierra de Guadarrama on detailed hiking maps with cartography of the Spanish military survey and overprint for hiking routes, campsites and refuges, etc.

The maps have contours at 20m intervals with elevation colouring and carry all the topographic information expected of survey mapping at this scale. The overprint highlights numerous waymarked hiking routes: the long distance GR routes, PR trails and, on some maps, the RV (Rutas Verde) paths. Symbols mark various types of accommodation including campsites and mountain refuges, places of interest, springs and caves, etc.

Unless specified to the contrary in the individual description, all the maps have a 1-km UTM grid plus latitude and longitude lines at intervals of 5’. Map legends are in Spanish only. Some titles are printed on waterproof and tear-resistant plastic paper.
