Unusual map, produced in co-operation with the Maritime Museum of Ushuaia, showing the coastal waters east of Tierra del Fuego, a graveyard of many shipping wrecks, and Isla de los Estados.

The sea is annotated with small drawings of many vessels which sunk in these perilous waters, each with a date and a brief description in Spanish. Isla de los Estados and the coastline of Tierra del Fuego are drawn in the style of old historical map, showing topography with names of numerous peaks. Latitude and longitude is marked in the margins at 1' intervals.

The map also has numerous insets with drawings of old lighthouses and coastal settlements.
