Attractively coloured physical road map of the Tierra del Fuego region spanning the Chile - Argentina border, with enlargements for Isla Navarino and Isla de los Estados. Satellite image of the area, enchanced by colouring and shading, provides a vivid image of the topography. The main map extends from the Atlantic side of the Magellan Straights and Villa Tuhuelches in Chile to the Beagle Channel. The Isla Navarino inset at 1:200,000 overlaps the main map to include Ushuia, while the Isla de los Estados inset is at 1:250,000.
Paved and unpaved roads plus local tracks are shown, with locations of petrol supplies and intermediate driving distances on main routes. The map shows many isolated farms and homesteads with connecting tracks. Ferry connections are also indicated. The map shows national parks and other protected areas, as well as boundaries of local administrative units. Also included is a glossary of main terms. Latitude and longitude lines are drawn at 1° intervals, and the map legend is in English and Spanish.
