Underhill's Punting Map of Oxford, a fold-out map with an illustrated companion to the pleasures of punting on the Cherwell and the Thames as they pass through the city, including simple tips on how to punt, a brief history of the pastime, and a guide to the riverside sights.
On one side is a map of the Cherwell and its canals between the Victoria Arms pub and the Thames, plus the short stretch of the Thames from the Folly Bridge. The map indicates punt stations, weirs and barriers, and highlights various local landmarks. 16 of the sights have brief descriptions on the reverse side which also provides notes on how to punt, Oxford’s rivers, and history of punting. Information includes phone numbers of boating stations for placing revervations.
