Windsor Great Park at 1:14,000 and central Windsor and Eton at 1:5,000 a double-sided tourist map has plenty of information both for visitors to the town and for recreational pursuits in the Great Park.

On one side is a clearly laid out, detailed street plan of central Winsdor with Eton, highlighting the Castle and the College and the main shopping areas on both sides of the Thames. The map clearly shows the town’s two railways stations, Central and Riverside, one way streets and locations of car parks.

On the reverse is a recreational map of the Windsor Great Park with contours at 2m intervals, showing the access to it from the Castle and central Windsor as well as from the surrounding main roads and Legoland. Colours are used to differentiate public and private areas within the park, major site buildings, landmarks and car parks. Symbols identify picnic areas, view points, public toilets and bus stops are marked.

Roads in the park indicate whether they are open or closed to the general public and are annotated with distance markers (km and miles). The map shows public footpaths, bridleways, the national Cycle Route No. 4 and the roller blading route. Also marked are features such as the deer fence, kite and model aircraft flying area, earthworks, viewpoints, etc.

Both sides of the map are annotated with explanations about history of the area and illustrated with colour photos.
