Harvey Map Services have been established for 25 years. They have gained a reputation for creating high quality maps for adventurous recreation. Popular walking and climbing areas throughout the UK are covered in ranges of sheet and route maps at varying scales according to the terrain of the area covered.
Harvey Maps are compiled from original aerial surveys and then field checked by experienced surveyors, hill walkers themselves. All their maps are printed on waterproof paper. The maps are clear and easy to read as well as being a manageable size.
The Harvey map range is now used by many mountain rescue teams, a testimony to the fact that these maps mark the difference between the detail the walker really needs, and the unnecessary detail.
Their Long Distance Route Maps are ideal as they contain all the information the walker needs on one sheet. The route is divided into sections. These sections are represented at a large scale with added information like street plans of towns and contact numbers and other useful information in English, French and German.
The Superwalker series and the Walker's Map series provide detailed mapping on waterproof paper. Safety on mountains is stressed and often the maps include an overview of the area showing the position of hill telephones and other facilities. Rights of way are always clearly marked as well as cycle routes.

They also collaborate with Collins and The Ramblers' Association to produce a series of walking guides to popular regions in Britain. Among the titles currently available are Ben Nevis & Glen Coe and The Peak District.
