Stanfords trekking event appears on film

Kev Reynolds Peter Burgess

Our recent event with Kev Reynolds on Trekking in the High Himalaya made a big impression on the 40-strong audience. In particular, keen walker and founder of the Online Fellwalking Club (OFC), Peter Burgess, as he even filmed the event and posted it on YouTube.

Peter wrote a praising review of the event and posted it along with the film on his website blog. He said, “Kev outlined several excellent trips illustrated by some truly remarkable images on slide. Shots of Machapuchare or the Fish Tail peak were truly wondrous and together with his emotive description Kev relayed his passion for this wonderful place.”

He added, “Kev's recurring advice was to trek in one of the less popular areas, take a tent into the upper reaches of a valley for a day or two and really experience the mountains first hand. To him, like many more of us within the OFC, mountains are his great passion and in this presentation, Kev's sense of wonder for these Himalayan giants came flooding out.”
