The British Cartographic Society Awards were revamped last year to encourage new cartographic products and new techniques in cartographic production and display. As part of the changes, a new award was introduced, sponsored by Stanfords, for printed mapping products.
This award is open to any mapping in the printed form, whether it be a poster, folded sheet map, atlas or page from a book etc. The award comprises a trophy and a certificate.
