…aboard the Flying Scotsman.

The LNER Class A3 4472 Flying Scotsman was built in 1923 for the London to Edinburgh non-stop express service. In 1934 it famously became the first locomotive to reach a speed of 100mph so is a very prestigious train among enthusiasts.

It has just undergone a £4.2 million restoration and is back on the tracks and you can take a ride on it. See flyingscotsman.org.uk for more details.
